Entrepreneur Immigration

  • Procedure:
    • BC PNP registration
    • BC PNP application
    • signing performance agreement with government
    • receiving letter of confirmation from the government
    • work permit application
    • creating or buying a business
    • provincial nomination upon meeting requirements
    • application for permanent residence.

Skilled Immigration Stream

  • Applicants for the Skills Immigration stream should have a firm job offer from an eligible BC employer. A job offer is not necessary for a master’s or doctorate degree in the natural, applied or health sciences faculties from a BC university. International post- graduates may be eligible should he or she meet other requirements.
  • This stream targets skilled workers, international graduates, international post- graduates, entry level and semi- skilled workers who fulfil the requirements necessary for NOC 0, A, B, C, D.
  • the scoring system is based on 200 points. The assessment is based on occupational level, wages, work location, education, language in addition to directly related work experience.
  • Procedure:
    • Registration
    • invitation to those with high score
    • application for nomination
    • nomination certificate issued
    • application for permanent residence.

Express Entry BC

  • Online application, fast processing.
  • This stream encompasses skilled workers, international graduates, and international post graduates that qualify for NOC 0, A, B.
  • Applicants must meet the requirement of one of the three programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST) in terms of work experience, language, etc.
  • Applicants must meet requirements of one of BC PNP streams and receive nomination certificate.

BC Tech Pilot

  • The Pilot is limited to 29 occupations only.
  • Procedure:
    • BC PNP registration
    • invitation issued to those with highest scores
    • application for nomination
    • nomination certificate issued
    • application for permanent residence.
  • Applications are submitted through BC skill immigration or Express Entry BC.
  • Invitations are sent weekly and applications are processed fast.
  • No LMIA is required but a job offer is required.
  • The pilot is valid until June 2020.
